Lily Collins and Alvaro Morte make West End debut in 'Barcelona' | Our Entertainment News
Lily Collins and Álvaro Morte make their West End debut in the suspense thriller Barcelona at the Duke of York's Theatre.
Collins (Emily in Paris) plays an American tourist in Barcelona who goes home with a Spanish man, played by Morte (Money Heist), for a carefree one-night stand. But things quickly turn dangerous as personal and political matters become catastrophically intertwined.
Bess Wohl's play first performed in 2013 and has since been heralded as "a seductive thriller that will leave audiences guessing – exploring the fantasy of who we pretend to be versus the truth of who we are." ATG Productions, Bad Robot Live and Gavin Kalin Productions are producing the remake, and Lynette Linton is directing.
