Lily Collins says she was lucky to start her film career with Sandra Bullock as her role model on the set of The Blind Side.

The Emily in Paris star made her feature film debut in the 2009 film directed by John Lee Hancock, in which Collins played Bullock's daughter and reflected on her time on set.
"I feel very fortunate that when I first started out, on my first film, I was taught by Sandra Bullock," Collins told Sky News. "She really took me under her wing during that experience and taught me the ropes. Even when she didn't know she was teaching me, she was teaching me because I saw her on set."
She continued: "The way she talked to everyone, treated everyone, the questions she asked and how she valued her character in ways that I didn't know, when I started, that you can appreciate… Or things you can ask or the right you have to bring in your own ideas."
