Liz Cheney condemned Donald Trump's "depraved cruelty" in a scathing speech, her first appearance with Vice President Kamala Harris since endorsing her last month.

Cheney noted that she has never voted for a Democrat and praised Harris for his “work to unite reasonable people from across the political spectrum.” The joint appearance, intended to woo Republicans and independents, was also symbolic because it was held in Ripon, Wisconsin, considered the birthplace of the GOP.

Cheney, who was vice chair of the January 6th Commission, cited Trump’s behavior that day. In her 20-minute speech, she even cited information about Trump’s behavior that was revealed this week in a filing in Special Counsel Jack Smith’s criminal case against the former president.
