'Logan' is from the Future!? – (Wolverine's REAL Ending)

Screenwriter Michael Green earned an Oscar nomination for his co-writing of 2017's "Logan," which, until this year's "Deadpool & Wolverine," served as the swan song for Hugh Jackman's run as the iconic X-Men character. The latest Marvel film brings a different iteration of Wolverine to the big screen, but not before opening with a sequence in which Deadpool digs up the rotting corpse of the Wolverine who died in "Logan" and uses his adamantium skeleton to battle a group of Time Variance Authority officers while NSYNC's "Bye Bye Bye" blares on the soundtrack.

Green, who also had a hand in writing Reynolds' infamous "Green Lantern" film, recently spoke to IGN and revealed that he was warned about the opening of "Deadpool & Wolverine." It seems that some people close to him thought he would take offense to Deadpool destroying Logan's corpse, but that's not how Green saw it at all.

"People had warned me ahead of time, 'Uh, I don't know how you're going to feel about the opening [of Deadpool & Wolverine ],'" Green said. "I was like, 'I think I know what's going to happen.' And I didn't know! I didn't know they were going to go this far."
