Saturday Night Live's golden year brings the cast of yesteryear together for new laughs.
Sushi Glory Hole – SNL Digital Short Film
This weekend, SNL alums and musical comedy trio The Lonely Island made a surprise appearance with their new song “Sushi Glory Hole,” the group’s first digital short in six years on the sketch comedy show.
The title of the 2009 Emmy-winning song, “D— in a Box,” is pretty self-explanatory. It stars Akiva Schaffer and Andy Samberg (Jorma Taccone, though credited as the writer, does not appear) in their Wolf of Wall Street best as they pitch their new concept to a group of investors (played by Bowen Yang, Maya Rudolph, and Kenan Thompson).
“Sushi Glory Hole, imagine if / Instead of strange d—, you get a snack,” Samberg raps during their pitch, complete with a tiny model.
