With a current cumulative gross of $72 million in the U.S. and Canada, Longlegs is now Neon's highest-grossing film of all time, not to mention this year. Pic is the top independent film release and the highest-grossing R-rated horror film of the year so far, further solidifying itself as the highest-grossing indie horror film of the past 10 years.
Written and directed by Perkins, Longlegs centers on Lee Harker (Monroe), an FBI agent on the hunt for a serial killer who discovers a series of occult clues that she must solve to put an end to his terrifying killing spree.
Producers on Pic included Dave Caplan of C2, Dan Kagan of Traffic, Brian Kavanaugh-Jones of Range, Cage for Saturn Films and Chris Ferguson of Oddfellows. C2 also fully financed the film.
