EXCLUSIVE: LuckyChap has promoted Bronte Payne to Senior Vice President of Film. Payne has been with the company since 2018 and has been integral in developing and overseeing projects including My Old Ass, Oceans prequel and Boston Strangler.

As SVP, Payne will oversee and evolve LuckyChap's film selection, with a focus on new and exciting voices.
“Bronte has been instrumental in LuckyChap’s growth since joining the company in 2018,” LuckyChap Principals said in a statement. “Her promotion to SVP is well-deserved and recognizes the critical role she has played and will continue to play in finding new voices and developing and producing meaningful projects.”
Payne has served on the Denver Film Festival jury and was selected as a mentor for this year’s Women in Film Fellowship Program. Payne attended the Student Symposium at the Telluride Film Festival and later attended AFI, where she received her MFA. She previously interned at A24 and worked for Kaplan/Perrone.
