Senator Nancy Binay continues to keep a close eye on Cebu Pacific after the carrier vowed to step up efforts to prevent abrupt flight cancellations and reduce overbookings.

In an interview with TeleRadyo, Binay said she will hold Gokongwei's budget carrier to the promises her officials made during the joint Senate hearing held Wednesday on the complaints against the airline.
“If you hear, you can improve your hearing. Mukhang magbabawas na po sila ng mga flight, kumbaga kung ano lang ang kaya nilang ibigay sa ating mga kababayan ay 'yun lang ang ibibenta nilang flight,' the senator said.
“Since most flights are possible, hopefully we can cancel the overbooking of airlines,” Binay added.
