WWE Superstars The Rock and Roman Reigns have not appeared together since WrestleMania 40. They teamed up to defeat Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins on night one of WrestleMania 40. This led to a Bloodline Rules match between Reigns and Rhodes for the WWE Undisputed Title on night two.

Many hailed this main event as the best in WrestleMania history. The match was disrupted by The Usos, Solo Sikoa, John Cena, The Rock, Seth Rollins and The Undertaker. Despite the chaos, Cody Rhodes defeated Roman Reigns to reclaim the WWE Undisputed Title that Reigns had held for 1,316 days.

After the match, The Rock confronted Cody Rhodes following his victory. The Final Boss warned Rhodes that he would come for him once his film commitments were complete. As time went on, significant changes occurred in the Bloodline, previously led by Reigns.

Solo Sikoa has taken over the faction and forces Roman Reigns to fight the Bloodline for Ula Fala. With Reigns outnumbered, Cody Rhodes steps in to help him. Together, Reigns and Rhodes will face Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu at WWE Bad Blood this weekend.
