Partylist of teachers of the ACT, Representative France Castro and Gabriela, Representative Arlene Brosas of the Women's Party, welcomed the senatorial candidacy of Secretary General Jerome Adonis of Kilusang Mayo Uno (KMU).

“As a fellow Makabayan senatorial candidate, Jerome is indeed a welcome addition to our slate and would be a fiery voice of the working class in the elections,” Castro said.
“His extensive experience as a labor leader and his deep understanding of the issues facing the working class make him an excellent candidate to represent the interests of the Filipino working class in the Senate,” Castro added.
Castro also stressed the importance of having real representatives of marginalized sectors in the Senate of Congress.
