Aaron Brown of Winchester, Illinois, was charged with a Class E felony of making a terroristic threat in the second degree after he threatened to shoot two Kansas City Chiefs players who attended the concert, the Jackson County district attorney's office said.
While prosecutors did not release the names of Brown's targets, Wallen walked onto the stage Friday wearing a Chiefs uniform along with Travis Kelce, Patrick Mahomes and Chris Jones.
Police detectives and intelligence analysts working at the stadium on Friday were monitoring online threats when they discovered Brown's post on X. Brown subsequently confirmed to police that he was at the stadium when they found and arrested him.
