Senior International Film Correspondent
Margaret Menegoz, who headed the iconic French film company Les Films du Losange for nearly 50 years and produced films by Éric Rohmer, Michael Haneke and Wim Wenders, has died at the age of 83.
The German-French film producer was born in Hungary in 1941. Her family, of German descent, was expelled from the country after the siege of Budapest in 1945, and Menegoz grew up in Germany.
