The cast of Marty Supreme continues to grow, with Fran Drescher joining the upcoming A24 project as the mother of Timothée Chalamet's character.

Drescher, best known for her role on the hit CBS sitcom The Nanny, which ran for six years in the '90s, will join the project, which already features a large ensemble cast. Not much is known about her character, other than the fact that she's Chalamet's mother.
Plot details for Marty Supreme are also being kept under wraps. According to a report from Variety , the film will follow Chalamet's character, a young ping-pong pro. Nothing else is known, except that the film will reportedly be set in the "world of 1950s ping-pong culture."
In addition to Chalamet, Marty Supreme will star as Gwyneth Paltrow and Tyler, the Creator. The cast also includes Odessa A'zion, Penn Jillette, Kevin O'Leary and Abel Ferrara. The script was written by Safdie and Ronald Bronstein, who are also producing the film with Eli Bush, Anthony Katagas, Chalamet and A24.
