Alison Brie is the latest superstar to join the live-action feature film adaptation of “Masters of the Universe” from Amazon MGM Studios and Mattel Films.
Brie has been cast as supervillain Evil-Lyn, opposite Nicholas Galitzine's central hero He-Man and Camila Mendes (as Teela, captain of the royal guard and He-Man's sometime love interest).
Plot details are being kept under wraps for the film — which opens exclusively in theaters worldwide on June 5, 2026 — but the story centers on Prince Adam of Eternia, who transforms into the muscular He-Man. With the aid of his magical Power Sword, the hero is tasked with defending his home planet from the evil sorcerer Skeletor. Evil-Lyn is Skeletor’s second-in-command and wields a magic wand with a crystal ball.
