Actor Matt Damon says he's spoken to producers about doing Rounders 2 – 07-26-16
In an interview today on the Rich Eisen Show, Matt Damon admitted that he still has a lot of interest in making a second Rounders film.
The 1998 cult classic drama starring Damon and Ed Norton explored the underground world of high-stakes poker. The story follows two friends who need to win high-stakes poker to quickly pay off a large debt. A rounder is someone who seeks out high-stakes card games.
The film opened in September 1998 and grossed $22.9 million against a budget of $12 million. However, the film remained popular due to the rise of poker.
