Matt Rife Announces Massive ProbleMATTic World Tour With Ashton Kutcher
Rife will co-star in Rolling Loud , an R-rated comedy co-produced with Live Nation Productions that will film at the eponymous hip-hop festival in Miami in December. The deal reflects Rife's longstanding push to bolster his acting career amid his busy touring schedule. It's the second high-profile project he's taken on recently, following a gym-set comedy currently in development that he'll write and star in for Netflix, as we previously told you.
Rolling Loud is inspired by the true story of an overprotective father who makes the worst parenting decision of his life when he takes his 13-year-old son to Rolling Loud, the world’s largest hip-hop festival. It’s the start of a chaotic adventure with his reckless coworker and an eccentric festival volunteer as they navigate wild crowds, security, and their own family dynamics.
Jeremy Garelick (Murder Mystery 2) has written the film and will direct it through his company American High. It is scheduled for release next year.
