Actor Matthew McConaughey tells governors he's still thinking about future run for political office
For Matthew McConaughey, a dream deferred isn't necessarily a dream denied.
The actor participated in a panel discussion at the National Governors Association on Friday with Utah Gov. Spencer Cox, a Republican, and Colorado Gov. Jared Polis, a Democrat, on how to promote civility in politics.
McConaughey has remained coy about potential party affiliation and what office he might seek, according to a report by Politico. He hinted in 2022 that he was considering a run for governor in Texas.
