Amazon to buy MGM Movie Studio for $8.45 billion
MGM Television and Israeli global entertainment studio Sipur have extended their production and distribution agreement for first-look films.
The agreement, which launched in 2020, has resulted in projects such as “We Will Dance Again,” the feature film documenting first-person accounts of the Hamas terror attack on Israel’s Nova Music Festival on October 7.
The film, directed by Yariv Mozer, is expected to air on Paramount+ in the U.S., co-produced by BBC Storyville in the U.K. and HOT Channel 8 in Israel. Mozer previously worked with Sipur and MGM Television on “The Devil's Confession: The Lost Eichmann Tapes,” which also aired on the BBC.
