Showtime's Dexter returned to San Diego Comic-Con on Friday night with a very special guest: Michael C. Hall.
Michael C. Hall on Reviving Dexter for 'Resurrection' and 'Original Sin'
It wouldn’t be Dexter Con without Dexter, and tonight there were two in attendance: Hall and Patrick Gibson, the latter of whom plays the younger version of the former’s character in the prequel series Dexter: Original Sin. Hall serves as narrator on the ‘90s-set series, which premieres in December.
Additionally, Hall will star in Dexter: Resurrection, a new series set in the present day and a sequel to 2021's Dexter: New Blood, set to launch in summer 2025.
"It's pretty intoxicating," Hall said, after a standing ovation in Ballroom 20. He's also an EP on both series. "I have flashbacks to the first time I came to Comic-Con. We were in this hall. That was … 75 years ago? It's amazing to still be alive. I can't wait to see this show. On some level, I have a sense of what's to come. I've spent so much time with this character and to go back and have those kind of imaginative holes filled in in this technicolor show … It's amazing."
