SPOILER ALERT: Below, major plot points from the series finale of Starz's Power Book II: Ghost are revealed.
Michael Rainey Jr. Discusses STARZ Series 'Power Book II: Ghost'
In 2014, Michael Rainey Jr. was a young teenager when he made his acting debut as Tariq St. Patrick on the Starz drama series Power, from executive producers Courtney A. Kemp and Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson. Today, Rainey is older and wiser after a decade of growing up in front of audiences on two Power Universe series, including the recent Power Book II: Ghost, in which he survives to see one more series finale. Could there be a third?
The conclusion to Power Book II: Ghost, which is currently available to stream on the Starz app, wraps up many storylines and leaves others open for potential continuation. Deadline has spoken to the network about what the future holds, but there are no announcements to be made at this time. And it's important to note that with Power Book IV: Force still having one season to go, anything can happen. I suspect we'll be waiting a while before we hear anything concrete, so in the meantime, entertain yourself with some speculation that will at the very least keep cast members like Rainey entertained. More on that in the Q&A below.
DEADLINE: This is the second show that Tariq has survived after the finale. Congratulations! What has this journey been like playing this character and growing with him?
