The three-time Oscar nominee will star in and executive produce a "Yellowstone" spinoff series titled "The Madison," from creator Taylor Sheridan.
The series, previously in development under the title “2024,” follows a New York City family living in the Madison River Valley of central Montana. According to Paramount, “the series is a heartfelt study of grief and human connection.”
“Michelle Pfeiffer is a remarkable talent who brings emotional depth, authenticity and grace to every role. She is the perfect anchor for the newest chapter of the ‘Yellowstone’ universe, ‘The Madison,’ from the brilliant mind of Taylor Sheridan,” said Chris McCarthy, Paramount Global co-CEO and president and CEO of Showtime and MTV Entertainment Studios.
