The Motion Picture Association (MPA) ratings for Bong Joon-ho's Mickey 17 have been announced.

Mickey 17 is set to hit theaters in the United States in January. The sci-fi film is directed by Parasite's Bong Joon-ho and stars Robert Pattinson, Naomi Ackie and more.

Mickey 17 has officially been given an R rating by the MPA, according to FilmRatings. It contains “violent content, language, sexual content and drug material.”

"From the Academy Award-winning writer/director of Parasite, Bong Joon Ho, comes his next groundbreaking cinematic experience, Mickey 17," the official synopsis reads. "The unlikely hero, Mickey Barnes (Robert Pattinson), finds himself in the extraordinary position of working for an employer who demands the ultimate dedication to the job… to die, for a living."
