Apple TV+ has released the trailer for Midnight Family (Familia de Medianoche), an upcoming Spanish medical drama starring Narcos: Mexico and Babylon actor Diego Calva and Ariel Award winner Joaquín Cosío.
The 10-episode medical drama, which debuts on the streaming giant on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, centers on a family who, aboard their private ambulance, make a living helping people in need of medical care. While they save lives every day, they also fight to save their own. It is inspired by the award-winning documentary of the same name.
According to the official synopsis, Midnight Family follows "Marigaby Tamayo, an ambitious and talented medical student by day, who spends her nights saving lives in a sprawling, contrasting and fascinating Mexico City aboard her family's private ambulance. Along with her father Ramón and siblings Marcus and Julito, Marigaby helps a population of millions by tackling extreme medical emergencies to make a living."
