EXCLUSIVE: Molly Burnett (Law & Order: Special Victims Unit) is set to produce and star in Giant Void, the independent sci-fi film that marks the feature film debut of writer/director Michael Reisinger.

Set in Colorado, the film centers on a brilliant computer scientist (Burnett) whose work on world-changing software uncovers a secret conspiracy within her company. As she grows closer to a colleague who may be part of the conspiracy, she is forced to rethink the nature of her relationships, her life, and her place in the universe.
Reisinger’s script generated a lot of buzz after winning awards at the BlueCat, Slamdance, ScreenCraft, and Scriptapalooza competitions in 2021 and making the Coverfly Red List in 2022.
In addition to Burnett and Reisinger, Andrew Baird (The Peanut Butter Falcon), Shepard E. Smith and Adia Stark will produce the films.
