A new teaser trailer for The Monkey has been released.

The Monkey is an upcoming horror film based on Stephen King's 1980 short story of the same name. The film is directed by Longleg's Osgood Perkins and stars Theo James, Tatiana Maslany, Elijah Wood, and more.

"In The Monkey, when twin brothers Hal and Bill find their father's old monkey toys in the attic, gruesome deaths begin happening all around them," a description of the film reads, according to Deadline. "The brothers decide to throw the monkey away and move on with their lives, drifting apart over the years. But when the mysterious deaths start again, the brothers must reunite to find a way to destroy the monkey for good before he takes the lives of everyone around them. Additional casting is underway."
