Monday meetings… #Oscars
Continuing its recent series of announcements consolidating leadership positions across all facets of AMPAS, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences on Thursday announced its newly elected Academy Foundation Board of Directors and Officers for 2024-2025. The electees include AMPAS officers President Janet Yang and Vice President Donna Gigliotti. Howard Berger has been named president of the foundation.
The Academy Foundation oversees all of the Academy's educational, preservation, and cultural activities, including the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures, the Academy's Margaret Herrick Library, the Academy Film Archive, the Academy Collection, and the Academy's talent development programs. Its board of trustees is comprised of nine trustees, all of whom are members of the Academy Board of Governors.
