The 2024 MTV Video Music Awards (VMA) have announced the nominations for this year’s ceremony, which will feature several globally acclaimed K-pop idols. BTS' Jungkook, BLACKPINK's Lisa, STRAY KIDS and More Nominated for 2024 MTV VMAs
VMA has been recognizing the rising talents of the K-pop industry for a few years now. The awards ceremony introduced the K-pop category in 2019. TXT, BTS, NCT 127, EXO, Monsta X and BLACKPINK were the first nominees in the 2019 VMA K-pop category.
Since then, BTS has dominated the category with multiple wins. Other artists such as Lisa and Stray Kids have also won the Best K-pop artist award in 2022 and 2023 respectively.
