MOTHER'S SUNDAY | Official Trailer
EXCLUSIVE: Here's a headline-grabbing update heading into MIPCOM.
With the Cannes conference less than two weeks away, we can unveil My Dear Mother, a series that sees Estonia and Ukraine team up to explore a young woman whose troubled past is revealed when her mother is found brutally murdered on a beach.
My Dear Mother is directed by Doris Tääker, who was AD in Christopher Nolan's Tenet, and written by Raoul Suvi. Made in the Nordic noir tradition, it sketches a story that blurs the lines between victimhood and manipulation, and raises questions about the protagonist's role in the crime. Doris Tislar (Lioness) plays the lead role and the cast includes Indrek Ojari, Elina Reinold and Saara Pius.
