The House of Representatives Committee on Public Order and Safety has charged the secretary of Lucky South 99 with contempt of court for allegedly not telling the truth.

During Wednesday's hearing, Representative Joseph Stephen Paduano of the Abang Lingkod party said the commission gave Ronelyn Baterna the opportunity to tell the truth.
"Mr. Speaker, I filed a motion this morning to hold Ms. Baterna in contempt, but I held it over because we gave her the opportunity to answer honestly, when in fact I have already explained what contempt is, tinagalog pa natin, so alam na niya. Alam na niya 'yung consequent nung pagsisinungaling sa hearing na ito," Paduano said.
“Therefore, Mr President, I wish to charge Ms Baterna with contempt, in violation of our internal rules,” he added.
