Behnam most recently starred as Lola Rahaii in the Max series The Girls on the Bus opposite Carla Gugino, Melissa Benoist, and Christina Elmore. From Amy Chozick and Julie Plec, the series follows Sadie McCarthy (Benoist), a journalist who romances Tim Crouse's Boys on the Bus book and works toward her goal of covering a presidential campaign for the newspaper of record.
Sadie hits the road and eventually befriends three female competitors, Grace (Gugino), Lola (Behnam), and Kimberlyn (Elmore). Despite their differences, the women become a found family with a front-row seat to the biggest soap opera in town: The Battle for the White House.
Benham recently wrapped filming a recurring role on the fifth and final season of Netflix’s hit psychological drama You. She will play Dominique, a passionate, smart, fiercely loyal young woman who, despite her wealthy upbringing, is a strong-willed caregiver to her struggling artist friends. Other television credits include FX’s hit biker drama Mayans MC, TNT’s Animal Kingdom and the CW’s Crazy Ex-Girlfriend.
