The exact air date and other details will be announced at a later date. The special will air on CBS and stream live and on-demand for Paramount+ with Showtime subscribers, or on-demand for Paramount+ Essential subscribers the day after the special airs.
It will be taped at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, TN, on November 21. According to CBS, the special will feature Bargatze as master of ceremonies as he takes the audience through stand-up, pre-recorded comedy shorts, sketches and musical performances. The special is a homecoming for Bargatze, who previously worked at the Grand Ole Opry as an entry-level employee early in his career.
"I'm incredibly excited to be creating this special because I've long been a huge fan of variety and we don't see enough of it! I want to create a great show that families can come together and watch together and I couldn't be in better hands than with this team," said Bargatze.
