Stephen Graham, Ashley Walters and Erin Doherty host a smashing one-shot Netflix series from the creators of Boiling Point, co-produced by Brad Pitt's Plan B Entertainment.
Irish star Graham also creates and writes Adolescence starring Jack Thorne, while Philip Barantini directs.
Unveiled earlier this year at a Netflix UK showcase, Adolescence tells the story of how one family’s world is turned upside down when 13-year-old Jamie Miller (Owen Cooper) is arrested and accused of murdering a teenage girl who attends his school. Graham plays Jamie’s father and “appropriate adult,” Eddie Miller. Walters plays Detective Inspector Bascombe, and Doherty is Briony Ariston, the clinical psychologist assigned to Jamie’s case.
