What You Need to Know About Emily in Paris Before Season 4 | Netflix
'Emily in Paris' fans who appreciate the title character's fashion trends can more easily find her wardrobe thanks to a new partnership between Netflix and Google.
Netflix subscribers will be able to scan Emily’s styles in season four and find similar items by scanning her looks using Google Lens, the feature that lets users search for images on the web. Fans who use the Netflix ad layer will also see so-called “pause ads,” which prompt them to scan an on-screen image that takes them to a specific “shop” page highlighting some of Emily’s clothing and accessories. Special commercials that air will reference Emily’s photography talents. Google will also serve as the title sponsor of the show’s fourth season and will advertise on the previous three seasons.
“By organically engaging with fans of the series and leveraging compelling formats, we are providing our members with a creative and entertaining experience and showing our partners the breadth of these unique opportunities we can create with them,” said Magno Herran, vice president of marketing partnerships for Netflix, in a statement.
