Popular streaming service Netflix recently experienced one of the biggest breaches in anime history. On Tuesday, August 6, 2024, several upcoming anime projects, including highly anticipated series Dan Da Dan and Terminator Zero, leaked ahead of schedule. Dan Da Dan in particular caused quite a stir, as the anime leaked two months earlier than planned. While series leaks are not uncommon, the streaming platform saw four of its most anticipated anime projects leaked.

As previously mentioned, Netflix was hit by one of the biggest cases of anime leaks, including series and movies like Dan Da Dan, Terminator Zero, Mononoke the Movie: Phantom in the Rain, and Ranma 1/2. While anime leaks are uncommon, this is the first time that an entire season of a series has been leaked.
The first six episodes of Dan Da Dan and the Mononoke Movie have leaked. Meanwhile, the entire season of Terminator Zero and Ranma 1/2 have been released online. At the time of writing, Netflix has not yet made an official statement about the incident. While most anime leaks on social media only include the opening and ending, full episodes are being downloaded on torrent sites before their release date.
