Campanella, who directed the Oscar-winning The Secret In Their Eyes (Best Foreign Language Film), will serve as director, screenwriter and showrunner. Mundoloco CGI, the animation studio he co-founded, will produce the series.
Héctor G. Oesterheld and Francisco Solano López’s graphic novel “El Eternauta” is also coming to Netflix, with Bruno Stagnaro attached to direct. K&S Films will produce the live-action series, which follows a group of people who survive a snowfall that claims millions of lives, only to have to battle a mysterious alien threat.
