Netflix series Man on Fire has added Bobby Cannavale to the cast.
Bobby Cannavale stars in Netflix's Man on Fire series!
In June 2024, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II (Aquaman, Candyman) was tapped to lead Netflix's upcoming Man on Fire series, which is based on the novel of the same name by AJ Quinnell. The novel was previously adapted into a 2004 film by Tony Scott, starring Denzel Washington and Dakota Fanning.
According to Variety, Cannavale has now joined the cast of the series in a guest role.
Cannavale will play a character named Paul Rayburn in the series. Deadline describes him as "an ex-Special Forces soldier who possesses a unique ability to read people. He is charming, nurturing and protective of those he cares about. Despite his warm, fatherly nature, his years of service in the field have given him a keen awareness of violence and human behavior. Quick-witted and incredibly intellectual, he likely has all the answers, and if he doesn't, he will find them."
