"Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft" picks up the events of the "Tomb Raider" video game "Survivor" trilogy ("Tomb Raider," "Rise of the Tomb Raider" and "Shadow of the Tomb Raider") and will chart the next chapter of the globetrotting heroine's career as she explores ancient mysteries.
According to the show's official description: "Following the events of the 'Survivor' series, Lara Croft has left her friends behind to embark on increasingly dangerous solo adventures. But she must return home when a dangerous and powerful Chinese artifact is stolen from Croft Manor by a thief with an uncanny personal connection. Her daring quest will take her on an adventure around the world and into the depths of forgotten tombs, where she will be forced to confront her true self and decide what kind of hero she wants to become."
In addition to Atwell as Lara Croft, the animated series' voice cast includes Allen Maldonado as Zip and Earl Baylon, who reprises his role as Jonah from the "Tomb Raider" video game franchise.
