The popular Japanese BL dating show The Boyfriend aired episodes 7 and 8 on Tuesday, July 23, 2024 at 4:00 PM KST on Netflix. The series features nine young men as cast members, including new couple Shun and Dai, who spend a memorable summer at a beach house called the Green Room. They spend a summer running a coffee truck and forming meaningful connections to find love and a lasting friendship.

Episodes 7 and 8 of The Boyfriend saw Shun and Dai work through their fights and feelings to eventually become a couple. The two shared a kiss on their private date, cementing their relationship. After some initial hiccups, misunderstandings and fights in this week’s episodes, the two officially started dating.

In episodes 7 and 8 this week, the eight cast members reached their final days in the Green Room. The cast consists of Dai, Shun, Kazuto, Alan, Gensei, Ryota, Taeheon, and Ikuo. Earlier, Usak left the show to take on a work-related commitment abroad. The remaining cast members spent more time together, sharing personal stories and forming connections.
