The docuseries also explores 7M’s alleged association with the Shekinah Church, alleging that Shinn, who is a pastor and the church’s founder, runs a religious cult.
The 7M TikTok Cult documentary centers on Melanie Wilking and her sister Miranda (now Derrick). Miranda and her husband, James (BDash) Derrick, have been involved with the talent management company 7M TikTok. Melanie and her parents reportedly accused 7M of being a dance cult in a 2022 Instagram video, revealing that Miranda's relationship with them deteriorated after she joined the agency.
