Here's the predictably intriguing new trailer for one of the most anticipated films of the year: Joker: Folie A Deux, the sequel to Todd Phillips' dark hit.

Oscar winner Joaquin Phoenix is back in the title role with Lady Gaga on board as Harley Quinn. It was confirmed this morning that the film will debut at the Venice Film Festival, which takes place in early September.

The plot of the sequel, which is expected to be at least partly a musical, will largely take place in Arkham Asylum. Brendan Gleeson, Catherine Keener, Jacob Lofland and Harry Lawtey will serve as supporting cast, with Zazie Beetz returning as Sophie from the original.
