Lionsgate has officially announced a new release date for Never Let Go, the upcoming horror drama from Crawl director Alexandre Aja.

"In this new psychological thriller, as an evil takes over the world outside their front door, the only protection a mother and her twin sons have is their home and the protective bond of their family," the synopsis reads. "Must stay connected at all times — even by tying themselves up with ropes — they cling to one another, urging each other never to let go. But when one of the boys questions whether evil is real, the bonds that keep them together are severed, setting in motion a terrifying fight for survival."
Never Let Go was originally scheduled for release on September 27, 2024, but will now hit theaters a week earlier, on September 20, 2024. The Halle Berry-starring film will debut in the same month as other horror films including Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, The Substance, Speak No Evil and Bagman.
Never Let Go is directed by Aja from a screenplay co-written by KC Coughlin and Ryan Grassby. Berry is joined by Percy Daggs IV, Anthony B. Jenkins, Matthew Kevin Anderson, Christin Park and Stephanie Lavigne. In addition to leading the cast, Berry also serves as an executive producer alongside Holly Jeter, Daniel Clarke, Emily Morris, Christopher Woodrow and Connor DiGregorio. It is produced by Aja, Shawn Levy, Dan Cohen and Dan Levine.
