Disney Tron: Catalyst is a sequel to Bithell Games' Tron: Identity. However, unlike their previous foray into the Grid, this new release will feature some real-time action combat. Players control Exo, a program with the ability to initiate time loops, as they unravel the mysteries of a Glitch threatening the Arq Grid. It also features new art and original music from the sci-fi franchise.
"In Disney TRON: Catalyst, players will meet Exo, a highly resilient and resourceful program with the incredible ability to initiate time loops," the game's synopsis reads. "With this newfound power, Exo must battle the overlords of a crumbling Grid while evading Conn, an evil agent of CORE. Exo must master her mysterious abilities and uncover the unexplained 'Glitch' that threatens the Grid."
"As Exo, players will fight on foot and aboard the Light Cycle to complete missions and gain crucial insights that will aid them on their quest. While learning from her mistakes, Exo will also have to navigate warring factions to unlock new paths and uncover the secrets of the Arq Grid."
