Star Control 3 – Introduction
Nicole Furia, a freelance film production accountant and financial controller, died Saturday, July 20, at her home in Agoura Hills, California, after a 10-year battle with cancer. She was 64 and her death was confirmed by her brother, Christopher Furia.
Nicole Furia grew up in the entertainment industry as the daughter of John Furia, Jr., the former president of the Writer's Guild of America, showrunner and producer.
She started in the industry as a paymaster at DISC (now Entertainment Partners), and later worked as an assistant accountant in television. After gaining experience in television, she went on to work as a production accountant and financial controller on films such as My Cousin Vinny, The Client, Titanic, V for Vendetta, Snow White and the Huntsman and Star Wars Episode VII.
