Nikki Glaser was one of tens of thousands of Swifties who landed in Vienna this week to learn that the singer’s Eras Tour concerts had been canceled due to an attempted terrorist attack. Three Swift shows were canceled in the Austrian capital on Tuesday morning after three teenagers were arrested in an ISIS-linked terrorist plot targeting her upcoming concerts.

"I was just devastated," Glaser said of hearing the cancellation as she boarded her plane to Vienna on Thursday morning. Unlike many other fans who traveled to see the singer, however, Glaser has seen the Eras Tour concert 17 times, so despite the disappointment, she assures that "no one should really feel sorry for me."
“I follow Taylor on tour as much as I follow myself on tour,” Glaser tells Variety via Zoom from her hotel room in Vienna. “Every time I’m not on tour, I find her and go there. It’s my favorite thing to do, I’m kind of addicted to it. So I was devastated.”
Self-jokes aside, Glaser was deeply grateful that no one was hurt and agreed that canceling the show was the right move. "I didn't even think about my safety once. I just thought, 'I don't get to see Taylor!' It was such a selfish thought. I'm so glad, of course, that everyone is safe and that she made the right decision."
