Nikki Glaser opens up about her return to comedy writing after taking part in The Greatest Roast of All Time: Tom Brady.
The stand-up comedian received widespread praise for her performance in the Netflix comedy special and said in a recent interview that she needs a "cleanse" after every roast.
"I really have to do some sort of cleansing after I write for a roast," Glaser said on a recent episode of NPR's Fresh Air podcast. "Because my mind is in such a bad place where I'm constantly thinking the worst about someone, looking at pictures of them and thinking, What is something that I can think about them that's going to haunt them for the rest of their life because I'm going to reveal it to everyone? It's a disgusting place to write from, but that's — that's the job."
