Manila Rep. Joel Chua said the Office of the Vice President (OVP) should not be given a free pass during the deliberations on the proposed 2025 budget.

Chua said the budget of Vice President Sara Duterte's office should be thoroughly investigated.
“Her OVP budget needs to be closely scrutinized for everything that has been spent and not spent,” Chua said.
“Never again and never again will the VP not be subjected to the same level of scrutiny as other government officials during budget hearings. Managot siya dapat sa bawat piso ng OVP budget,” he added.
