Universal Pictures has officially welcomed Golden Globe winner Sharon Stone to the cast of Nobody 2, a sequel to the 2021 action thriller.

Stone will join Better Call Saul's Bob Odenkirk, who will reprise his role as Hutch Mansell. The Total Recall star is expected to play the sequel's main villain. There is currently no word on whether other cast members from the original, including Connie Nielsen, RZA and Christopher Lloyd, will return.
Nobody 2 is being directed by Indonesian filmmaker Tim Tjahjanto from a screenplay by John Wick franchise creator Derek Kolstad, Odenkirk, Aaron Rabin and Umair Aleem. The film is being produced by Kelly McCormick and David Leitch for 87North, Odenkirk and Marc Provissiero for Odenkirk Provissiero Entertainment and Braden Aftergood for Eighty Two Films. Universal Pictures presidents Jay Polidoro and Tony Ducret will oversee the project.
The first installment revolved around former hitman Hutch Mansell, who finds himself back in the criminal world after feeling overlooked and underestimated by everyone, including his family. Further plot details for the sequel are still under wraps. The film received positive reviews from critics during its theatrical release. The film also grossed over $57 million worldwide, against a reported budget of around $16 million.
