Allow me to quote myself. From a June “Awards Circuit” column: “Since this is the last chance for ‘Reservation Dogs’ to get some Emmy Awards attention, it would be a shame if it doesn’t finally get the recognition it’s long overdue.”
We did it, kids. “Reservation Dogs,” which was largely ignored by TV Academy voters for its first two seasons, finally got some Emmy nomination love near the end of its run. And it gives me renewed faith that sometimes the media can make a difference by spotlighting deserving shows and artists.
