Amid all the excitement surrounding Oasis' reunion, the band have debunked a widespread rumor.
"Despite media speculation, Oasis will not be playing Glastonbury 2025 or any other festivals next year," the band said in a statement on social media. "The only way to see the band perform is on their Oasis Live '25 World Tour."
So far, the tour has included 14 shows in the UK and Ireland, including four dates at Manchester's Heaton Park and four at London's Wembley Stadium. But a press release announcing the band's reunion specified that "plans are afoot to take Oasis Live '25 to other continents outside of Europe later next year."
With Oasis headlining England's Glastonbury in 1995 and 2004, and the 2025 festival dates coming just days before the band's first reunion show on July 4 in Cardiff, Wales, fans have speculated that the Gallagher brothers might make their triumphant return to the iconic Pyramid Stage.
