Odessa Young knew immediately that she wanted to participate in “My First Film,” director Zia Anger’s retelling of her debut feature, 2010’s “Always All Ways, Anne Marie,” which was rejected from film festivals.
Young plays a fictional Anger named Vita. The film follows Vita as she makes a scrappy independent film in her hometown, and her falling apart while dealing with a difficult boyfriend who wants them to be parents for the first time.
